Celebrating Women’s History Month at SXSW EDU 2024

Throughout the month of March, women worldwide are honored for their remarkable and invaluable contributions to society. From Madam Curie to Rosa Parks, women have played an essential role in shaping the world we live in today. Despite historical oversight of many women's achievements, Women’s History Month serves as a reminder of all the amazing achievements of women from all walks of life.

This year, we are extremely excited to host women from all over the world on the SXSW EDU stage. These powerful speakers will not only share their unique perspectives but also spotlight important issues in support of women spanning topics from building inclusive spaces for young women in STEM, to supporting women of color educators, Title XI, and more.

Join us for thought-provoking conversations, diverse stories, and new perspectives from our extraordinary female speakers at this year’s conference.

Support Women-Focused Films at SXSW EDU 2024

Check out two of our highly anticipated films that highlight women’s issues! Attend a screening followed by a Q&A session with the filmmakers.

The film She Creates Change supports gender equality and demonstrates the positive change that occurs when girls are provided the support they need to stay in school.

Show Her The Money addresses women getting less than 2% of venture capital and demystifies what venture capital is. The film reminds us that money is power and women need it to achieve equality.
