Educating Global Impact Changemakers – Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Educating Global Impact Changemakers - Worcester Polytechnic Institute

High-impact practices. They’re a proven approach to prepare tomorrow’s global changemakers. We’re talking about your students, in all their diversity, for all their hopes and dreams for tomorrow, regardless of their major.

Whether at a community college, a small liberal arts college, or a premier university, project-based learning and other high-impact practices work because there is not a one-size fits all approach, but there is a common outcome: global citizens who are better communicators, critical thinkers, problem solvers, and collaborators—and who understand a wider range of geographic, cultural, political, and economic contexts so they can make contributions to communities everywhere.

Across higher education, our collective responsibility is to find new ways to guide learners to turn their ideas into action in the real world. This means going beyond the traditional to drive sustainable and systemic curricular and cultural change. It can be done. We’ll share how.

Join us on March 7 at 3:30 to learn about successful strategies and how to maneuver roadblocks. Check out our session here, and be sure to bring your questions and ideas. We look forward to seeing you in Austin.
