SXSWedu is fueled by community input. There are a number of ways to contribute your perspective and insight from reviewing and rating proposed programming, to participating in a number of programming elements currently in development. Several opportunities to participate at SXSWedu 2015 are highlighted below.
Vote on Sessions
PanelPicker is a crowd-sourced platform that empowers the community to have a significant voice in the programming that takes place at SXSWedu. This interactive, online interface allows the public to submit fresh ideas, review each other’s work, provide feedback and vote on what sessions they would like to see showcased at the March event.
Enter Your Startup Company
LAUNCHedu provides an outlet for entrepreneurs seeking feedback, investment, strategic partnerships and exposure. Startups present their early stage business concepts before a panel of industry experts, early adopters and educators, as well as a live audience at SXSWedu.
Apply for a Display
The Playground is an informal learning space designed to celebrate and highlight pursuits in maker, STEM, gaming, virtual learning, arts and more. The Playground encourages attendees to explore their creative side while at SXSWedu.
Submit Your Film
SXSWedu celebrates and explores a cinematic look at education with eduFILM. This program casts light on education’s most pressing topics and serves as a platform to evoke meaningful dialogue among attendees.
Participate in the Education Expo
The Education Expo is a free and open to the public event celebrating the Central Texas community's hunger and passion for lifelong learning, from cradle to career and beyond. Distinct from a traditional exhibit hall, the Education Expo provides a collaborative, community environment for learners of all ages to explore their immediate and long-term education and career goals.
