Mentorship is a powerful tool for growing professionals. The mentor program at SXSWedu facilitates one-on-one connections between curious attendees and experienced professionals.

SXSWedu is seeking a diverse array of mentors for the 2017 event, from classroom teachers and professors to industry insiders and CEOs.

Pitch Your Startup in the Launch Competition

The SXSWedu Launch startup competition is an opportunity for early stage companies seeking market exposure, investment and strategic partnerships to showcase their innovative products. Selected companies will pitch in front of a jury of industry experts and educators, as well as a live audience.

Display Your Innovative Learning Approaches in the Playground

Tuesday, June 28: Playground display application opens
Friday, September 23: Playground display application opens

Playground displays allow organizations to share their educational approaches and innovations at SXSWedu by offering attendees the opportunity to engage in participatory activities in a casual, conversational setting.

Organizations interested in participating for the duration of the Playground while showcasing their creative approaches to learning, are encouraged to fill out the Playground display application.

The SXSWedu film program highlights poignant narratives and documentaries focusing on all aspects of education.

Film selections are community driven, just like SXSWedu session content. Filmmakers, producers and community members are invited to submit films for the consideration.

Friday, November 25: Mentor application closes

The SXSWedu Expo is designed to encourage and inspire learners of all ages to identify and reach their education and career goals.

For 2017, SXSWedu is looking for mentors to meet with students during the Expo and share insights from your professional and education background.
