Help select SXSW EDU 2024 programming! PanelPicker® community voting is now open. Cast your vote on your favorites from more than 1,600 session ideas.

Participating in PanelPicker voting gives you a unique opportunity to shape the 2024 program. Your vote can influence which innovative and insightful proposals make it to the stage in March. Final sessions are decided by the public (30%), the SXSW EDU Advisory Board (40%), and SXSW EDU staff (30%). Be sure to submit your votes before the deadline on Sunday, August 20 at 11:59pm PT.

How to Vote

To participate in the voting process, sign in or create an account for free at panelpicker.sxsw.com.

  • Select SXSW EDU 2024 from the conference dropdown box
  • You can filter proposals by using the session track, format, and level dropdown boxes
  • Use the search field to find specific proposals using the title, description, tags, and speakers
  • "Arrow up" for yes or "arrow down" for no
  • Vote once per proposal
  • Comments are optional, but the comments section is a great place to post questions and leave feedback. Comments are available to view by the public.

Tips for Voting

  • Get familiar with tracks and formats – Understanding the tracks and formats can be an essential tool for voting. Tracks can help you categorize and better understand the thematic topic, while the format visualizes how the session will unfold.
  • Pay attention to diversity – Sessions with many different perspectives can be the most interesting. When reviewing the sessions, consider varying genders, ethnicities, locations, employments, and opinions.
  • Watch the accompanying video – The videos submitted with sessions often provide valuable insights and a better understanding of the session's content and presentation style.
  • Leave feedback – You can provide valuable feedback, suggestions, and support for the sessions you find most compelling in the comment session, and organizers and other voters can view them.
