Meet Ups are topic-focused networking events that encourage communities at SXSW EDU to connect with others who share similar passions or interests during the event. Meet ups are part of the SXSW EDU daytime program and take place each hour of the conference day.

About Meet Ups


The meet up program encourages micro communities to connect around shared interests.

Each meet up is centered around a specific topic or community, one hour in length and led by one to two speakers. Meet ups can take a variety of forms including group activities, facilitated networking or focus discussions.

Meet ups are topic-focused, networking events selected through the PanelPicker process, which give communities at SXSW EDU the chance to connect with others who share similar passions or interests. Enter a meet up idea in PanelPicker Monday, June 25 – Friday, July 20.
