I purchased a credential to SXSW EDU 2020 and would like a refund. How do I request a refund?
SXSW EDU is not issuing refunds due to the registration terms that you agreed to at the time of your purchase. Enforcing the no refund policy is necessary because of SXSW’s financial expenses that were required to produce SXSW 2020.
I purchased a 2020 SXSW EDU badge and filled out the deferral form but didn’t receive a coupon code or a confirmation for my deferral. Will you be sending me information about how to redeem my deferral?
If you purchased a 2020 badge and filled out and submitted the form we have your information and will honor your deferral.
If you requested a badge deferral or 50% discount for the 2021 SXSW EDU event, you will receive your 2021 coupon before registrations go on sale to the public. You will be able to use this coupon to register for SXSW 2021 once registration opens. If you elected to defer to later years, we will be in touch with you closer to the first year of the deferral years you selected.
I saw that you offered deferrals to purchasers of 2020 SXSW EDU badges. Can I still request one?
Our deferral offer expired.
I need to update my contact information that I originally sent through the deferral form. How do I do that?

I would like to change the year for my deferred badge. How do I do that?
To change the year of your deferred and/or discounted badge, please fill out the form available here. Year changes must be made before you redeem your deferral coupon and no later than January 15th of the year you initially selected for your deferral. Please be aware that this is not the form to fill out to defer your badge.
