What are you looking for in sessions and why?

No other event attracts such exhilarating pitches full of wisdom and passion to improve both the working and learning experiences for educators and learners alike.

Whether it's a new framework or edtech solution, what makes a session at SXSW EDU distinct are the personalities that see the value in sharing their insights from less-than-obvious pockets of research executed in mesmerizing ways that change how we think about the profession.

As SXSW EDU 2024 draws closer, my goals for the event come into focus. This year, I hope to listen and learn from practitioners, solution providers, learning scientists, and policymakers as they showcase their studies and efforts to make certain that emerging technologies of the GenAI era are safe, representative, and truly effective at contributing to the mission of local schools in all communities.

I also look forward to getting current with old friends from around the world, mentoring and making new friends who have a vision for a new contribution to the field and helping them meet others who can support their goals.
