The wait is over… we are thrilled to announce the first wave of accepted sessions, crowdsourced from PanelPicker, for SXSW EDU 2024! This year, 1,677 session ideas were submitted to PanelPicker®, marking a significant increase from 2023 and a testament to the community’s engagement in shaping impactful conversations about learning for this year’s event.
After a rigorous voting period, the SXSW EDU Advisory Board, community, and staff have thoughtfully reviewed every proposal, ensuring a high-quality and diverse selection of content in this initial lineup.

This year, sessions will address the reimagining of social and emotional learning, the importance of increasing access to outdoor education, how to ethically teach about emerging topics, and accessible learning in non-academic environments, just to scratch the surface. The majority of sessions in this announcement are in the Teaching & Learning and Equity & Justice tracks, followed by Leadership for Tomorrow and Arts & Storytelling.
The dynamic speakers featured in these sessions represent perspectives from all over the world. Announced so far, you will find voices from Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Qatar, United Kingdom, United States, and Uruguay represented.
