Crossover Day is Thursday, March 12 where SXSW EDU attendees can enjoy access to a multitude of SXSW events, such as live music at dozens of SXSW Music Festival venues, select film screenings from the SXSW Film & TV Festival, and so much more — from Activations, to International Innovations Expo, Mentor Sessions, Meet Ups, and Core Conversations, there are plenty of opportunities to expand your network.

New for 2026, we’re offering Music Wristbands as an add-on when you check out for SXSW EDU for those interested in seeing showcases during SXSW.

SXSW EDU takes place March 9-12 and SXSW Music takes place March 12-18. As part of this year’s new Crossover Day, SXSW EDU attendees will have access to attend music showcases with their SXSW EDU Badge on Thursday, March 12, 2026.
