Hands-on Learning in the Makerspace

SXSWedu announced the exciting list of makers lined up for the debut of SXSWedu Makerspace this week. The hands-on space will highlight the engaging and practical approach to teaching and learning. Policy Forum to Take Place at SXSWedu

SXSWedu, in partnership with The Texas Tribune is proud to debut it's new Policy Forum featuring prominent voices addressing key policy topics in public and higher education.

1. SXSWedu Mobile App

The SXSWedu app is the official mobile app for getting the most out of attending the SXSWedu Conference & Festival. The 2013 app is now available for download iPad, iPhone and Android.

2. Bookstore and Book Signings

SXSWedu will host a series of book signings, March 4-7, 2013 in Austin, Texas during the event. All of the books authored by the SXSWedu presenters will be available for purchase in the SXSWedu Bookstore prior to the singings.

The SXSWedu Conference & Festival brings together the wide variety of stakeholders passionate about the learning landscape March 4-7, 2013 in Austin, Texas. The SXSWedu audience includes everyone from education professionals in K-12 and higher education, business representatives and entrepreneurs focused on education goods and services, and policy makers and legislators.

After a few requests from our friends up north hunkering down for the storm, we've extended our last registration deadline for SXSWedu 2013 to 11:59pm (CST) on Monday, February 11th. That means you have more time to get your 2013 SXSWedu Registration squared away. For those of you not getting buried in snow, you also have until Monday night to save $50 off of the walkup-rate.

We hope all those in the northeast stay safe and warm this weekend. We look forward to seeing you all in March!
