Festival

As a reflection of the growing SXSWedu community and the wide variety of stakeholders who share a passion for innovations in learning, the SXSWedu Conference is expanding to include a number of new "festival" components.

In addition to the wide array of conference programming, the four-day event will also feature a makerspace, as well as film screenings related to education.

Sponsored social events designed around the various interests of SXSWedu attendees were well-received last year as an opportunity to connect and collaborate throughout the event. These parties will return at SXSWedu 2013 in addition to several new forums for networking.

A free and open to the public event for Central Texas high school students and their families, Future Plans College & Career Fair, will take place on the evening of Tuesday, March 5, during SXSWedu at the Austin Convention Center.

News and updates regarding all SXSWedu festival events will continue to be announced as March approaches. Sign up for the SXSWedu Newsletter and follow SXSWedu on Facebook and Twitter to stay informed and register to attend.
